9-1-1 for Kids
Everyone agrees that children need basic survival skills, and one of the most important skill sets is what to do in an emergency. 9-1-1 for Kids teaches children disaster and emergency preparedness and response through the proper use of 9-1-1, the nation's universal emergency telephone number.
Since 1994 9-1-1 for Kids has reached over five million children ages 4-7. Strategic partnerships have been developed with the PTA, Department of Education, law enforcement agencies, highway patrol, crime prevention groups, fire fighters and emergency medical response to address the serious problems of US and international emergency response systems for its 911 for Kids educational program.  For more information please visit 911forkids.com
